The real cult in this country is the republican party
It is very telling when the members of that cult are split on john mccain because they regard him as "too liberal", or against torturing POWs

guiliani never stood a chance with them either, his views on choice and gay rights would not be tolerated by the cult

Tom Brokaw was on A Daily Show last night, and he remarked that republican friends he had who would have NEVER voted for a Democrat, will do it this time

He is not the only person I have heard say similar things

The Democrats definitely have problems, but the republican party is in full melt down

8. No, what you are trying to do is divide, when the purpose of this post was to unite
That in itself is very telling

I put it in the GENERAL DISCUSSION FOR THAT PURPOSE, NOT TO ELICIT POLITICAL IMPLICATIONS ON ANY CANDIDATE, but to unite against a common force

Thanks for the distraction

17. Implying that Obama supporters are cult like is not common force but B.S.
Whoever wins the nomination is going to need each the other side support, and if the insults continue, the "common force" that you refer to may be destroyed in the process

3. THANK YOU!
Please everyone, get some focus.

I think the Internet is creating little self-managed bubbles that is keeping them from even realizing what is really going on.

The Republicans are getting off scott free on what has happened the past eight years. Cry all you want about "MSM" coverage of your candidate, but what is completely off the table this year in the press is how - THE CONSERVATIVES HAVE COMPLETELY FAILED THE PAST EIGHT YEARS.

and what the bush administration does, is what the republican party has become

7. I think a lot of the crap we're hearing form Republican's ...
nowadays about voting for a Democrat this time around is just a cover story. I think they're just unwilling to admit that the GOP isn't what they thought it was. I think they're voting for a Democrat because they're scared. They've seen how fucked up things are getting and they're voting Democrat because they remember how much better things were when Bill Clinton was in charge. They want the Democrats to save their bacon and restore the country to what it was under Bill Clinton but they don't want to admit it.
