I thought I would enjoy hearing Romney bow out
I didn't
Not because I want him to stay in, I didn't. It was because of his pandering speech to the CPAC (Conservative Pricks of America Committee).

Hearing his warnings to conservatives about the war, the economy, and corporate taxes, and the rousing support given by the crowd, disturbed me more than the solace I thought I'd feel when he quit, two days after the AM radio Axis of Evil gave him their nod.

I was gleeful that Rush, Laura, and Shawn, apparently don't hold sway over Barstool Republicans like they once had. No longer do the Ditto-Heads in Shawn Hannity's America look to Laura Ingrham for political guidance. The cannon fodder of the Reagan Revolution are shunning the generals and thinking for themselves apparently.

That has to boil their blood.

Although I do enjoy playing voyeur to the baring of these radio icon's egos, I felt my own blood pressure rise when Romney carped about the horrors of the 60s, when society began to unravel, and our great nation granted welfare, which created vast poverty.

I know the line they spew: "that before welfare the people got by OK. But with the advent of welfare, people signed up for benefits." "Therefore the system created the poor people".
This is a theory so full of holes anyone but a blind lemming can walk through it, so I'm not going to start.

He then continued to raise my ire by cheering further corporate tax cuts.
I guess it's getting hard to hand out multi million dollar executive bonuses these days, so a little socialism for the Mitt Romneys of America must be justified to help them compete with the Robber Barons of the 19th century.

Which brings me to the last disgusting pander for the mob at CPAC...
"Entitlements"

What a scary word that has become. These repubs throw it around like a used needle at the free clinic. They don't know for sure what's on it...but they don't want to catch it.

I know what's on it...
Welfare, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and programs like HEAP.
These are the only functions of our government that directly returns revenue to the working taxpayer. In Mitt Romney's country, that's an abhorrent waste of the nations war chest.

That took him into his lust for war of course.
What a crowd pleaser this grand finale was. Like throwing raw steaks into a lions den, the wild C-pack of blood thirsty Republicans tore it up in a helter skelter frenzy and left the walls splattered with the blood.

Just like Romney however, who say's his "one regret was that he didn't enlist to serve his country", they took care not to get any of that blood on their business suits. They can always wash their hands later.

By the time this Herbert Hoover robot finished up I was avowed to renew my fight to make sure these incompassionate bastards never see the inside of the White House again (without a visitor's pass) for as long as I'm alive.

For pure purpose of motivation, Mitt Romney should speak at every Democratic rally between now and November. Tell the prospective Democratic voters what a neo-conservative White House will look like if we don't fight like our very lives depended on it.

I don't know if I feel better now after typing this screed, but at least it gave my middle fingers something to do while the TV talking heads spend air time lamenting his resignation.
