Shenon suggested that Philip Zelikow, the executive director of the 9/11 Commission, sought to minimize the Bush administration’s responsibility for failing to prevent the September 11th attacks. There are many implications of the book and this revelation -- all strongly supporting a coverup of LIHOP at least.

Goodman's take on it was that much of the material that lays blame on al Qaeda were directly traceable to torture sessions and that therefore the entire report can no longer be considered credible.
