1. Here's the explanation.

The Chicken Doves

Elected to end the war, Democrats have surrendered to Bush on Iraq and betrayed the peace movement for their own political ends

3. They are acting like congress used to.
When both sides actually worked for a solution. Now they are the only side willing give on anything. So they not only have reach across the aisle but they have to go over there in get in their laps.

5. I'm asking them to be as unreasonable as the republicans
To use the power at hand to get the right things done. Treating the republicans as the enemy the same that has been done to us. I am telling them to learn to say no rather than maybe. I hate it but the conservatives have made American politics into a bloodsport. If they do not learn to return the fight when it is offered they will lose every time. The only way to win fair in a crooked game is to be absolutely tough and never give an inch.

7. All the time the Republicans...
had control, I gave some of these 'Democrats' the benefit of the doubt. No longer. There is no excuse for their silence on things that are vital to the health of this society, and their agreement to the most disastrous policies ever to erode our civil liberties. There is a cause to this effect. I'm not sure if individuals agree to greed and graft, or if the party as a whole agrees to greed and graft, and assigns votes accordingly. Crazy where guessing leads me, but these days on any number of subjects that's all I can do is guess.
