On withdrawing from the race for the Republican presidential nomination, Mitt Romney said that by staying in he would be making it easier for a Democrat to get elected president, and that “frankly, in this time of war, I simply cannot let my campaign be a part of aiding the surrender to terror.”

3. You should have read the thread I started the other day.

In which I said that Mittens' reference to not wanting his campaign to be a part of aiding a surrender to terror MUST mean that he realized that as long as he continued to run, his sons would have to forego signing up to fight in Iraq, because they'd be too busy supporting his campaign.

Now that he's suspended it, they're free to leave him and go to Iraq and help win the War on Terror.

Good for him. I expect to see his sons lined up at the recruiting office very soon. Before we know it, he'll be able to tell us: "The Romney Surge is WORKING!"
