Who could be the next woman president? |
|
if Hillary doesn't get the nomination or the presidency (which now it seems extremely unlikely she will), who will be the next woman with the shot at the White House, and how long would it take?
Governor Sebelius?

18. And after two terms of Obama, she'll probably look hot at 76 |
|
But I don't think she'll run for President in 2016.

C'mon...she's got the tv vote, name recognition, a PILE of money and people seem to trust and respect her.
Yep, threw up in my mouth a little bit at typing that subject line. Yes indeedy.

13. My guess is that it would be a woman VP who would then run as Prez. |
|
I wish it were otherwise, such as a successful female governor, but there seems to be no traction there, unlike male governors. I don't know why. I think it is because women get no respect when they take over and do a good job. Eventually, however, it has to happen.

16. She's out there somewhere, |
|
maybe a state senator, or a junior congresswoman. I mean, if you had asked "Who could be the next black president?" this time 4 years ago, we would have just shrugged.
Whatever disagreements I may have with some of them, HRC, Pelosi, Boxer, even Feinstein have all paved the way for the next generation of female leaders.

Cuddly old Freddy-bear couldn't bring home the bacon so she has to!
In seriousness - we may have a woman as VP candidate so that would put her in the lead.

You just here to cause trouble aren't you? Thought that awful anti-Obama thread you posted yesterday would limit your time among us. Apparently not. Another one for my ignore list then.

20. Before this campaign, I had said the first woman president will be a republican |
|
Because a liberal female president would be too scary for the right of center moderates.
But then again, some say HRC is not a liberal.
