Foreign print but print no less. This is exactly what waterboarding is. TORTURE! NOT "an interrogation technique"!

:grr:

<snip>

In a high-stakes showdown with Congress, Mr Bush has also promised to veto a Bill to outlaw waterboarding, the simulated drowning technique widely classed as torture.

1. Good, send him a bill to veto.
I don't want later history students to get confused about just where this guy stands on torture.

2. He already authorized it. He is the War Crimes Prez.
Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and the UN Human Rights Organization have all recognized it a Torture.

The CIA admitted it was illegal, and the WH still claims the right to re-authorize its use.

Torturer in Chief, for sure.

IMPEACH THE WAR CRIMINALS!!!

3. "simulated" or "actual" drowning?
Edited on Fri Feb-15-08 10:43 AM by Kashka-Kat
As Randi Rhodes likes to point out - it IS drowning, water enters the lungs, asphyxiation, loss of conciousness...(brain damage and death are possible side effects)

How anyone can convince themselves that that isn't real torture is beyond me. The mass mind-f*** practiced by Bush & Co. scares me more than that evil terrorist boogey man they keep threatening us with.
