This news report from the Cleveland newspaper. DK got enough cash to buy 190 K of air time. I hope my third check gets there in time to help buy another 100 K of time.
Kucinich's opponent, Coucilman Cimperman is a hack see link below . Lets keep our progressive voices with a true leader and a congress person who fights for real health care reform and against trade give aways. .

Help keep Ohio’s 10th Congressional District in Progressive HandsCleveland’s movers and shakers have thrown their support by sitting Ward 13 councilman Joe Cimperman, a corporate-owned politician. His argument for running is based in part on the most ludicrous of claims: that a sitting elected official ought not to spend taxpayer time and money running for another elected office. But that is precisely what Cimperman is doing. Furthermore, he is running on a patently false claim that Kucinich has missed more votes than almost any other member of Congress.

The truth, however, is not on Cimperman’s side. According to GovTrack.us:

Rep. Dennis Kucinich, who faces four Democratic opponents in the 10th Congressional race, has bought more than $190,000 worth of time on local television stations, according to political advertising records at the stations. A 30-second ad will begin airing Monday on Channels 3, 5, 8, 19 and 43 and is scheduled to run until the March 4 primary.

So far, Joe Cimperman is the only other candidate to run a political ad on the networks. A 30-second commercial has been running for three weeks, and he has bought additional time. So far, the Cleveland councilman has spent $105,000 on network air time.
