Folks: It's time to concentrate our rhetorical fire on McCain
We have to keep in mind that the choice is not between some mythical perfection and something else. It's between one of our two leading candidates and John McCain. And we need to start calling out McCain for having no plan for America.

The right has gotten away with the talking point that says Obama is running on "feelings" and has no plan, or that Clinton is running on her husband's name and has no plan. That's bullshit. H. Clinton and Obama have done their homework. They have some of the smartest policy wonks on Earth working to develop real proposals.

McCain, on the other hand, is the one running purely based on emotional appeal. Yes, he is a war hero. Yes, he is sincere (most of the time). But that's his whole campaign. He says people should vote for him because he is "stronger on terrorism," but never says what that means. His argument seems to be "just trust me, I'll do something to make you feel safer."

What would foreign policy look like under McCain? What's his economic plan (beyond cementing in place the status quo of the Bush tax cuts? What the HECK would he do about health care? We just don't know.

THAT is what we should be focusing on.

I have stated my preference for Obama. I want him to win. But, Clinton comes from behind and gets the nomination, I sure as hell will want her to beat McCain

1. I am going to give you my last valentine.
And while I wholeheartedly support your sentiment, i just have one thing to say:

Can I have some of whatever you are smoking?

3. He's an extension of Bush
he'll just carry on what Bush will leave - a large mess, corruption. McCain will do what he's told!

Don't mention the saving and loans scandal.

4. Hello... We all know that McCain is for more of the Bush Doctrine.. But....
we still need to settle our nominee before we move on to this dead beat that knows nothing about finance and allot about keeping us in Iraq for 100 years...

14. He's a hot head and that's not what we need right now. He's too
negative. His flip flops on torture, his sucking up to bush, his support of a never ending war. We need to define him before he defines himself.
