Protesters Storm US Embassy

Protesters have ransacked the building of the US embassy in the Serbian capital and are throwing in torches.

At least two protesters could be seen on the windows of the US embassy blazing torches. Furniture is also being seen thrown out of the building while protesters from the street threw torcehs to the building.

There was no visible police presence as the protesters attacked the building. A Balkan Insight reporter on the scene said police started arriving only after angry protesters managed to get into the building

Given that the US is hardly capable of swinging other countries to our POV at this time, I find it interesting that this particular anger isn't directed more to countries in the immediate area who also supported Kosovo.
