If the dems are so afraid of Nader running, why didn't they push for election reform?

If the dems are so afraid of Nader running, why didn't they push for election reform?
And establish a system that enables coalitions?

The truth is, that voices to the left of the mainstream democratic party are never heard. As long as that is the case, the democrats themselves are to blame for elections that are lost as a result of that.

1. I don't see why anyone should be afraid of Nader running.
He really is old hat, yesterday's news. People are far too wise now after the disaster of 2000 for him to get any more than 1%. He's meaningless and nothing to fear.

If no one should fear Nader then no one should fear McCain; there moment was in the 60s, time for the rockin' chair. Hunter's Wingmen, a book at
usdoj.gr should finish off McCain, and with Nader 2000, 2004 finished him. No worries going forward.

2. Serious people are not concerned with Nader at all.
Lots of emotional baggage around here sure, but the people in the know realize that this is a person that got 0.38% of the vote in 2004 and is now an irrelevant political figure.
