A Pro-Telecom-Immunity Commercial Keeps Running On Pittsburgh TV |
|
Over the weekend I have seen an advertisement that urges the Congress person who represents Pittsburgh to join Bush in the push for telecom immunity aired several times. This is no amateurish video either, this is top rate costly production shit. One has to wonder who is paying for it? NSA? Bush? The Telecoms? Who's interest is being served here?
P.S.: We get Pittsburgh (100 miles NNW of us) channels through Direct TV because of our location.

This is like organized crime having commericals asking you to contact your representative to pass a bill that makes old hits, forgery, robbery, and fraud forgiven.
Come one! It's all in the past. So what if they killed your friend's brother and stole your grandma's savings!
Lets forgive and forget.
Let bygones be bygones!
Sheesh!

3. I tried to catch the attribution line at the end, but missed it |
|
Something like the Democracy Council or something similar to that. I was across the room when it flashed on the screen and could not read it.
What a fucking insult.

What a coincidence...
The message was to call your Rep to urge passage of the bill -- in order to make us "safe". :puke:

I didn't notice the ad during 60 minutes, but was in and out of the room fixing dinner.

Channel four seems to run it about every ten minutes during the local news broadcast.
