Easy to talk to Republicans these days ...
Spoke to a Republican that hates bush yesterday. He don't want either Democratic candidate to win because he "Doesn't want to pay anyone else's insurance costs" he continued, "He doesn't like McCain but figure he would be better than our candidates" - of course, I said "So the health plans would be a drop in the bucket to your trillion dollar war that shouldn't of been waged but you won't agree to pay a minute amount for insurance coverage for all?" You should of heard the silence, of course I followed it with, "One thing for sure this year, you hard nosed Republicans can't say the first damn word about 'Tax and Spend' Democrats this year" adding, "You have outspent us ten ways to Sunday" Conversation ended abruptly.

Give it right back to them, folks... Don't let them beat you on this argument... You have my permission to use the above :)

1. Yeah, I've heard that "spending like drunken liberals" line...
...you just have to slap it down every time.

"Horseshit! No drunken liberal ever came close to spending that much, as you damn well know, 'cause you can name every single one."

3. Amazing how they don't care about corporate welfare.
Which is much greater than any social welfare programs.

4. Worse than tax and spend is "borrow and spend" -- ie, what our government has
been doing for the last 7.5 years.
