The truth is this is an endless war, Americans and Iraqis are still dying. He will not give a timetable, because there is none. Our Armed forces have been decimated because of Iraq, Afganistan is now in trouble because of Iraq, and we cannot afford the monetary cost either, standing as a traffic cop between the Shia, Suni, and Kurds

This is no North and South Korea, but a lie that I hope people can see right through

2. I'm convinced McCain is even more dangerous than Bush has been.
He still wants to fight the Vietnam War, and thinks he's some kind of military leader.

He's dangerous, very dangerous.

5. McCain is fighting to vindicate American involvement in Viet Nam vis a vis Iraq.
Kucinich has the best plan for US disengagement in Iraq, and I wish more people would take the time to read it.

7. How many people would have died if the U.S. never invaded Viet Nam?
That war was also based on a lie

No argument here about Kucinich, I agree with you on that

10. McCain thinks we "cut and ran" from Viet Nam. Of course going in was stupid, staying in as long as
we did was stupid.

It was such a waste.

But McCain was/is a true believer. Which is why he says 100 years.

6. +$3.00 a gallon gas is the direct result of the Iraq invasion
Which gave us the accompanying huge rise in food prices.

Heck of a job, McCain.

8. I forgot about that small little detail. A major reason for the high price of gas is our invasion
of Iraq, and subsequent destabilization of that whole area

13. The high gas prices are a gift from W to his Big Oil pals,
his best friends.

14. but it is the regular guy who can't afford it, and is hurting that will make the difference
Look at the voting turnout, especially among the Democrats, the republicans are screwed, because they screwed too many people

Americans are willing to cut through the bullshit. People want to end the war for sure, but I still see, for example on a Southern sports message board I read, people refusing to vote for Obama because he "might be a Muslim" and because he "refuses to put his hand on his heart during the Pledge of Allegiance."

Patriotism and racist fearmongering better not be 2008's version of 2004's "moral values" voting.

11. That may be, but there are FAR more people who do not listen to faux
or cable for that matter, and they are aware that are resources are being dwindled away

Those that believe Obama is a Muslim says more about THEM, and their thought process, and WHY THEY WILL LOSE

You can only lie to so many people before they are wise to you, and I believe people are now wise to how they have been raped by the republicans

Democrats WERE NOT IN CHARGE FOR THE LAST EIGHT YEARS, the republicans were

Houses being lost are lost by both white and people of color

Jobs being off-shored affect all people

The republicans have reached the end of the line, too many people have been affected adversly by their policies
