NOTE: Technically the first part of this interview belongs in GD Primaries, but there's no way to separate it out obviously. You can skip ahead to the second and third parts of the interview (it's just under 15 minutes) by going to the 5:40 mark.

Michael Hirsh, Senior Editor of Newsweek, joins Cenk to talk about the Clinton-initiated whispering campaign against Obama in the Jewish-American community, the role of Karl Rove in the Don Siegelman conviction, and the significance of the election results in Pakistan.

PS---You can always watch the Show Live 3-5 pm ET, with a Rolling Post Game 5-7 pm daily Monday-Friday at www.theyoungturks.com The RPG often contains political talk but also many non-political topics to lighten things up (and yes, that audio may not necessarily be work-safe).

Also, if you can't watch live, the 3-5pm portion of the show (politics) streams the rest of the day, all day right after the Post Game Show ends leading up to the initial show at 3pm.

2. Mr. Hirsh seemed a little hesitant about Karl Rove
I think he agrees with Cenk that hiring Rove was not a good idea but he can not go quite that far because he also works for Newsweek. He was as anti Rove as anyone in his position could be.

3. I agree 100%
I would've liked for him to be harsher but he's in a tough position. And it was still clear (to me) he wasn't happy about the Rove hiring and that he'd be happy about a Rove firing.

4. I, too, was taken aback at Hirsh's response
I guess being 'in' the media gives you a different viewpoint...? The way he made it sound, he's got some really stringent journalistic standards. That's a good thing of course, but...damn. This is fucking Karl fucking Rove we're talking about. He sould be in fucking jail getting raped daily by someone really big and ugly.

Maybe I went too far with that comment.
