The Migration Policy Institute reports an astounding 1.3 million immigrants applied to naturalize in FY 2007, a 220% increase over 2005. The number of immigrants who have naturalized or applied to naturalize since the 2004 election exceeds President Bush's margin of victory. A new Pew study shows that Hispanic voters now support the Democrats by a 90 to 10 margin compared to 60 to 40 in the 2004 election. Do the math. Being pro-immigration is not only good policy, it's smart politics.

This is what's wrong with the GOP and a certain wing of the Democrats just exemplified in that comment. You can probably say the same thing about African-Americans. It's racist to say this about African-Americans and making cracks like this is no different.
