UPDATED: 7:26 am EST February 27, 2008

CLEVELAND -- A Bizjournal study finds Cleveland ranks No. 2 as the most stressful city. Detroit ranks as No. 1.

The study cited the city's robbery rate, second-worst frequency of heart attacks and strokes and fourth worst unemployment rate.

Other cities among the top 10 include St. Louis, Memphis, Philadelphia and Atlanta.

Virginia Beach-Norfolk, Va., ranks as the least stressful city.

1. Don't forget the weather...we have fewer sunny days each year than Seattle.
Cleveland weather is absolutely horrible.

4. We're Number 1, We're Number 1!
Another great statistic for Detroit. We're first in foreclosures, first in murders and first in heart attacks.

At least we don't have the worst schools in the state, or are the poorest city in Michigan. Both those honors go to Benton Harbor.

"Stress caused by bad news from back home, by lack of funds, employment or education opportunities, has caused an increase in cases of heart disease and diabetes," Ahlam said.

Toxic environments.

Mental health problems.
