Neil Bush in Paraguay with Moonies

Neil Bush accompanies Moonies to meeting with Paraguayan

Asuncion, Feb 28 (EFE).- Neil Bush, the younger brother of U.S. President George W. Bush, and a delegation from the Rev. Sun Myung Moon's Family Federation for World Peace and Unification met Thursday with Paraguayan President Nicanor Duarte.

Moon's various organizations and enterprises have large landholdings in northern Paraguay, on the border with Brazil, and the country's Supreme Court rejected in mid-2007 the expropriation of more than 52,000 hectares (128,395 acres) of Moonie-owned land ordered by Congress.

The high court's ruling was harshly criticized by Duarte because the expropriation was intended to help residents of the poor, remote town of Puerto Casado.

Neil Bush later went to the Senate to take part in an international seminar, "New Leadership Paradigms in Latin America and the Caribbean at a Time of Crisis on the Global Level," organized by the federation.

Bush, who became a poster boy for the $500 billion U.S. savings and loan debacle during the 1988-1992 presidency of his father, George H.W. Bush, said in brief remarks that he had a pleasant conversation with Duarte. EFE

1. Guess they must be having problems setting up Casa de Bush
and had to send an errand boy down there to crack the whip. If the economy keeps sliding like it it, we may have a President trying to do his job from a country that doesn't extradite.

2. This whole Bush en Paraguay con los Moonies scenario just keeps getting
weirder. Given a guess, it sort of looks like they're trying to set up a little state-within-a-state down there, but it sounds like they may have to overthrow the Paraguayan government to really make it work. :wtf: indeed.

12. I think that's part of it.
I'm aware that the Bush/Moonie land sits on top of a huge aquifer. Water's the new oil, as they say. But it doesn't really explain why they're allegedly turning the place into a huge military installation, complete with a large contingent of Blackwater mercs to keep the locals in line.

yep, they, the bushes have a world dominance plan don't they.

If the coup we are experiencing in our country today which btw started in dec of '00 fails in these last few months they have to complete it then I suspect paraquay is where they are all headed too out of the reach of the ICC or so they think and I'm not so sure they aren't. it is getting close to shit or get off the pot time for this cabal so we had better be paying attention to what they are doing like our lives depended on it cause if they try what I believe they have no choice to not do then it will cost me my life, I know that for sure.
UAE also comes to mind for some of them like the dickster and his band

Edited on Fri Feb-29-08 11:47 AM by Jeff In Milwaukee
Why does the Bush Family's long-standing relationship with the Unification Church not get the scrutiny that it deserves? Why do God-Fearing Republicans vote for a guy whose family is so cozy with a cult leader who has quite publicly proclaimed that he is the second-coming of Jesus Christ? How does Bush get ANY votes in Iowa with this rather obvious skeleton in his closet?

Neil Bush visita Paraguay

AP

Posted: 2008-02-28 22:17:30

11. "Now, the discovery of secret-police documents in Paraguay ..." implicating Bush ...
This information is just now coming out. The Paraguayan Archives are like the KGB Files
except that they point the finger at Bush, Reagan, Ford, and the military juntas of South America,
and their secret fascist death squads.

The CIA TapeGate event is related to the disclosures in South America, the fear of Chavez
(a graduate of the School of the Americas and an insider with direct knowledge of US atrocities),
and the history of US use of surragate death squads, torturers, and state terrorism. One of the
results of this scandal will be the disclosure of this history. We need to have a moment of truth,
just like East Germany and the old USSR, with declassification of the history, revelations of the truth,
and eventually some form of reconciliation.

It is time to shatter the myth before the myth destroys democracy in the USA.

Those of us whose friends have bullet holes in their heads are not the only ones demanding truth any more.

Pulling Back the Veil on Operation Condor by JOHN DINGES

Pulling Back the Veil on Condor by JOHN DINGES
July 24, 2000 - http://www.thenation.com/docprint.mhtml?i=20000724&s=dinges

For three years, from 1975 through 1977, the countries in what is known as the Southern Cone of South America underwent a human rights crime wave unprecedented before or since in the region. Military regimes in place for more than a decade in Brazil and Paraguay were joined by like-minded military rulers who had overthrown civilian regimes in Uruguay, Chile, Argentina and Bolivia. Perhaps the most closely guarded secret was a system of international cooperation known as Operation Condor, an intelligence organization in which multinational teams tracked down and assassinated dissidents outside their home countries. At least 13,000 people were killed, and hundreds of thousands were imprisoned in concentration camps in the six countries participating in Condor.

Now, the discovery of secret-police documents in Paraguay and other recently declassified documents in the United States is pulling back the veil from Operation Condor. The new information paints a picture of up-to-the-minute knowledge of Condor operations by US officials, including detailed intelligence just before Chile sent a team to Washington, DC, where they killed a prominent opposition leader with a car bomb on Embassy Row. Other documents provide a feasible scenario for the origins of Operation Condor and point to the intriguing early involvement of an FBI agent. This is my reconstruction of what happened:

In May 1975, Paraguayan police arrested two men, Jorge Fuentes Alarcón and Amilcar Santucho, who represented what they considered a major new guerrilla threat, a united underground organization of armed groups from several countries, called the Revolutionary Coordinating Junta, or JCR.

The arrests were seen as an intelligence bonanza, according to Paraguayan and US documents. Last year the Justice Department declassified a letter, dated June 6, 1975, from an FBI agent, Robert Scherrer, to a Chilean police official. Scherrer, who had taken great interest in the arrest of the two revolutionaries, describes the results of "interrogations" of the two men.

" admitted that he is a member of the Coordinating Junta and was acting as a courier for said group," Scherrer wrote. Santucho, his traveling companion, was the brother of Argentina's most famous guerrilla leader, Roberto Santucho. Scherrer, whose job included intelligence liaison with the Southern Cone countries, told his Chilean counterpart that the FBI would follow up by investigating two people living in the United States, in New York and Dallas, whose names were discovered in Fuentes's address book (one of them was identified by Scherrer as Fuentes's sister). There can be little doubt that Scherrer was aware that the "interrogation" in Paraguay meant brutal torture--in fact, he discussed the Paraguayans' use of torture in a 1979 interview with me in which he also described Fuentes's arrest.

When the Paraguayans were finished interrogating Fuentes, they turned him over to Chile's secret police, the DINA. Two days later, DINA chief Manuel Contreras wrote an ebullient thank-you note, dated September 25, 1975, to his Paraguayan counterpart, conveying "the most sincere thanks for the cooperation given us to help in the mission my agents had to carry out in the sister republic of Paraguay, and I am sure that this mutual cooperation will continue and increase in the accomplishment of the common objectives of both services." Another long letter followed: Contreras invited three Paraguayan intelligence officials to attend a "strictly secret" meeting in Santiago along with intelligence chiefs from Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia and Uruguay. .....................

FLOW: For Love Of Water, a new film by Irena Salina, highlights the local intimacies of an emerging global catastrophe: African plumbers reconnect shantytown water pipes under cover of darkness to ensure a community's survival; a Californian scientist forces awareness of shockingly toxic public water sources; a ‘Big Water’ CEO argues privatization is the wave of the future; a “Water Guru” in India sparks new community water initiatives in hundreds of villages; a Canadian author uncovers the corporate profiteering that drives global water business.

they know it's for real, they just don't care about the people so instead of promoting policies to avert or blunt the worst impacts of this looming global catastrophe, their's is a secretive policy of I got mine, screw you. 25. And our Congress investigates baseball drugs...
The powers that be have known for YEARS what
is looming. WAY back a number of years, Cheney
commissioned a report to find out the projected
scenario of what the impact of population
growth, remaining resources and the sustainability
of life would be by the year 2015 or so.

The researchers came back with the results
and basically their conclusion was that
the population would have to be reduced by
two thirds in order for humans to survive as a species.

And yes, they have theirs, and screw the rest of us.

27. It's where the fresh water is.
Edited on Fri Feb-29-08 03:33 PM by Uncle Joe
The parts of the globe warming up the fastest are the poles where the ice is, not the equator. Different sections of the planet will experience this catastrophe in various ways, from extreme drought, to flooding, more intense hurricanes fed by warmer ocean water, Europe may actually go through an Ice Age depending on whether the Gulf Stream is shut down or drastically altered by the convergence of what was disparate global temperatures; which has been the driving engine of the global climate mankind has known throughout history.

I believe one thing is for sure though, whether it's drought as some of the West and Southeast is experiencing or flood as after Katrina, or mountain glaciers melting which have traditionally fed river systems as in southern Asia; in which China, India, etc. depend on, fresh water will become a precious commodity.

28. Jenna Bush Buys Paraquay

Bush Family Dynasty, Moonies, and Secret Missions

The US presence in Paraguay has been under scrutiny since May 2005 when the country's Congress agreed to allow 400 American marines to operate there for 18 months in exchange for financial aid. At the time many viewed the arrival of troops as a sign that Washington was trying to monitor US business interests in neighbouring Bolivia, after the election of Evo Morales, a leftwing leader who promised to nationalise his country's natural gas industry.

It’s real short and real simple:

• The Cuban news service reports that George W. Bush has purchased 98,840 acres in Paraguay, near the Bolivian/Brazilian border.

• Jenna Bush paid a secret diplomatic visit to Paraguayan President Nicanor Duarte and U.S. Ambassador James Cason. There were no press conferences, no public sightings and no official confirmation of her 10-day trip which apparently ended this week.

• The Paraguayan Senate voted last summer to “grant U.S. troops immunity from national and International Criminal Court (ICC) jurisdiction.”

• Immediately afterwards, 500 heavily armed U.S. troops arrived with various planes, choppers and land vehicles at Mariscal Estigarribia air base, which happens to be at the northern tip of Paraguay near the Bolivian/Brazilian border. More have reportedly arrived since then.

Here’s a little background on the base itself, which Rumsfeld secretly visited in late 2005:

U.S. Special Forces began arriving this past summer at Paraguay’s Mariscal Estigarribia air base, a sprawling complex built in 1982 during the reign of dictator Alfredo Stroessner. Argentinean journalists who got a peek at the place say the airfield can handle B-52 bombers and Galaxy C-5 cargo planes. It also has a huge radar system, vast hangers, and can house up to 16,000 troops. The air base is larger than the international airport at the capital city, Asuncion. Some 500 special forces arrived July 1 for a three-month counterterrorism training exercise, code named Operation Commando Force 6. Paraguayan denials that Mariscal Estigarribia is now a U.S. base have met with considerable skepticism by Brazil and Argentina. There is a disturbing resemblance between U.S. denials about Mariscal Estigarribia, and similar disclaimers made by the Pentagon about Eloy Alfaro airbase in Manta , Ecuador. The United States claimed the Manta base was a “dirt strip” used for weather surveillance. When local journalists revealed its size, however, the United States admitted the base harbored thousands of mercenaries and hundreds of U.S. troops, and Washington had signed a 10-year basing agreement with Ecuador.

Another twist: Rev. Sun Myung Moon bought 600,000 hectares — that’s 1,482,600 acres — in the same place: Chaco, Paraguay. The first story, from Paraguay, apparently refers to the senior George Bush as the owner of the 98.840 acres in Moon’s neighborhood. Bush 41 was the first bigshot politician to go prancing around with Rev. Moon in public. Especially in South America: “In the early stages of the Reagan Revolution that embraced the Washington Times and Moon’s anti-Communist movement, it was embarrassing to be caught at a Moon event,” wrote The Gadflyer last year. “Until George H.W. Bush appeared with Moon in 1996, thanking him for a newspaper that ‘brings sanity to Washington.’” That was while on an extended trip to South America in Moon’s company. A Reuters’ story of Nov 25 of that year describes the former president as “full of praise” for Moon at a banquet in Buenos Aires, toasting him as “the man with the vision.” (And Moon helped Bush out with his own vision thing, paying him $100,000 for the pleasure of his company.) Bush and Moon then traveled together to Uruguay, “to help him inaugurate a seminary in the capital, Montevideo, to train 4,200 young Japanese women to spread the word of his Church of Unification across Latin America.” Isn’t that special? Oh, and both the Moonie and Bush land is located at what Paraguay’s drug czar called an “enormously strategic point in both the narcotics and arms trades.” And it sits atop the one of the world’s largest fresh-water aquifers.

29. I think you are all missing the BIG point here
The Universal Peace Federation is not just some organization "associated" with Moon, that is nonsense.

The UPF is the culmination of Moon's life long planning. He has put the "church" under it. He named 12 district directors to the "church" and they all carry superior titles of "Chairman of the Universal Peace Federation." Moon has never intended his organization to be a religion. He sees himself as the voice of G-d and his followers as carrying out his plans. Eventually the goal is to gather the world's religious and political leaders, enough of them, under the UPF and through them cajole the world toward Moon's vision.

He is wildly successful but the media will NOT report it. Of course he was also successful manipulating our political system into this horror but they won't report that either.

At the 1st anniversary of the UPF in Korea, Moon was introduced like this:

We are now having our direct encounter with God and our True Parents. I'd like us all to stand up on this day, September 12th, the anniversary, first anniversary celebration, not just of some organization but truly the organization that our True Parents are using as their instrument to build God’s heavenly kingdom, the kingdom of the peaceful ideal world. (Thomas Walsh – Secretary General Universal Peace Federation – introducing Sun Myung Moon to give the founder’s address at the first anniversary of the UPF – September 12, 2006 – Original Palace – Chung Pyung Lake Korea)

The Bush Crime Family expands around the planet.

38. He's also against democracy
He wants it to be replaced with his form of thoecracy, Godism. That is something the soul sellers on the right don't want you to mention.

quoting James Whelan the frst editor of the WT - this is form a post at Scoobie Davis'.

from this must see video

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=9008719207533458404&hl=en

"They (the Moonies) are subverting our political system. They're doing it through front organizations--most of them disguised--and through their funding of independent organizations--through the placement of volunteers in the inner sanctums of hard-pressed organizations. In every instance--in every instance--those who attend their conferences, those who accept their money or their volunteers, delude themselves that there is no loss of virtue because the Moonies have not proselytized. That misses the central, crucial point: the Moonies are a political movement in religious clothing. Moon seeks power, not the salvation of souls. To achieve that, he needs religious fanatics as his palace guard and shock troops. But more importantly, he needs secular conscripts--seduced by money, free trips, free services, seemingly endless bounty and booty--in order to give him respectability and, with it, that image of influence which translates as power."

43. Cell- you really should start another thread dedicated to sharing your gold mine of info-
Your research and backing links really deserve their own thread!

People REALLY need to know!
Personally, I think Moon may be the second beast
from Revelation 13.

He certainly fits many of the biblical descriptions.
