Campaign Finance Question About Hillary's Loan |
|
I heard this morning that Senator Clinton had raised over $30 million dollars in the most recent reporting period, presumably the month of February. It occured to me that she loaned her campaign $5 million earlier in the month. So I was wondering, can she now have her campaign write her a check out of the month's contributions and repay herself now, while the campaign has money?
Not pushing for her or against her, I'm just wondering if she can do it.

1. Interesting question.... |

I'm guessing she won't expect a payback quite yet because she prob needs every cent for advertising.

2. Maybe someone will know this morning |

I'm still curious. I suppose she could direct her campaign to do it, I don't think it would be wrong for her to do it. Like I said, I am just curious if there are rules which either permit her to repay or deny her from doing it.
