1. Thank god he's got his writers back.

22. Yeah, otherwise he might be able to...
...spend more time on somewhat substantive or thought-provoking discussion rather than rack up minutes with cheap shtick going after easy yucks.

6. He needs new writers
I expected a drum roll on the monologue.
But it should be better than the last two weeks with his conservatives
At least he has Harry Shearer tonight.

24. I have had a crush on Shashi Tharoor ever since seeing him on the Colbert Report
I don't really have much to add, except to wonder why we can't send somebody to the UN who's smart and articulate like that. :loveya:

I don't agree with everything Hitch or Bill have to say, but I can appreciate that there is an intellectual thought process involved.

23. Yes, if they think Kerry shot himself to get a purple heart.
See, the mantra of the "Independent" is that they are above it all. They smugly see so clearly that neither side is good enough for them. Yet, these supposedly intelligent people fall for the...

Hillary's a Socialist
Gore said he invented the Internet.
Global Warming is just a theory.
Obama doesn't wear a flag lapel pin, and that's supposed to mean something.
Impeaching President Clinton was for "Lying to a grand jury"
Can never forget Chappaquiddick, but expects us to forget Election 2000.

Every damn time it comes up. They are either idiots or they're lying, because they know I'm not a wimpy liberal. Yeah, they love to talk about something some DEMOCRAT did, but when a Republican does something, the response is "Yeah, it's all those POLITICIANS." A friend of mine at work asked me 3 times the last 6 months if Obama was a muslim. I keep telling him no. Wouldn't it be sinking if he was smart?

I'm sorry. If you are still on the fence about who to choose, because you can't see which is worse, a man who was part of The Keating Five, or a man who's middle name is Hussein, then I really do have to question your intelligence.:hi:
