From NZ: Complaint Against Bush Billboard Upheld
Now this is what I call "Truth In Advertising."

Complaint Against Bush Billboard Upheld

National Business Review
By Sarah McDonald
February 23, 2007

A complaint made against a Hell Pizza billboard featuring US President George Bush  has been partially upheld by the Advertising Standards Complaints Board (ASCB). The advertisement featured Mr Bush and the words "Hell. Too good for some evil bastards".

Objections were made to the use of slang in a public place, the alleged denigration of Mr Bush, and perceived blasphemy. One of the complainants described the billboard as a vicious smear campaign against an openly Christian person.

But advertising agency Cinderella Ltd defended the billboard, saying that it tapped in to a growing sense of outrage about the invasion of Iraq. The agency also said that use of the term "bastard" is widespread and can be considered a compliment.

9. You mean Kiwis, don't you?
New Zealanders don't like being confused with Australians any more than Canadians like being taken for Americans.

2. Just because you're Christian, doesn't mean you're good
That goes for all religions. It's not the faith or, religion that might be evil, but it is those who interpret it to do evil deeds.

Just my $.02

4. put Bush and bin Laden both on the billboard
ought to confuse enough of the critics

They can believe its Bush saying so about bin laden
Or they can believe its bin laden saying so about Bush
or they can believe its the owners saying so about one or both of them
