How much did gas cost in your area when Chimpy took office? |
|
I recall it being around $1 a gallon. Hard to believe now.

5. You will see gasoline at $2.50 or less a gallon again. End the war and dump the Chimp. |
|
18 months from now you will be paying less for gas than you are today.

|
On my way to work this AM, one corner two stations. One said $3.01 the other $3.29
But bu$h has nothing to do with the rise in gas prices, it is all supply and demand. BULL SHIT!

9. They're mimicking the Euros ... |
|
The petro people know that we will stand paying this much by watching the Euros. Of course over there all that money goes to taxes that support public transit. Over here, the oil companies are just pocketing it.

and we thought that was outrageous. I hope this is in every campaign ad and commercial this fall. Along with the unfunded cost of the occupation.

16. In 1999...as low as 74 cents.......during the impeachment hearings, I traveled thru Tenn.. |
|
Edited on Fri Mar-07-08 12:44 PM by Stuart G
and Kentucky...........I will never forget paying 74 cents a gallon. There was some kind of glut on the market then.. and there were gas wars on then. I made a special trip thru the mountains from Illinois to Florida to see an aunt in Ft Lauderdale..74 was the cheapest and 79 to 80 was very common.
