A note to those sending Siegelman letters. Please include a stamped envelope for him to use

when he writes you back. Many of us are sending him letters, and he has been sending back replies, but the way things are he may not always be able to get hold of stamps and envelopes and even paper.

Let's make it easier for him to correspond.

5. You might want to check the rules where he is incarcerated...

most of the time you are not allowed to send a prisoner stamps/paper/envelopes....they are expected to buy it on their own, from the prison commissary...have someone check before you send him any writing materials...because it will be confiscated and it then becomes possible that he will NOT receive the letter you wrote him either. wb

7. yes, i probably have $100 of stamps that are just collecting dust

and i would be happy to send them to him, but apparently that is against the rules. hard to believe but apparently true.
