After the primary is over, the people who are truly Democrats will be united behind our candidate. And those that leave were never here for more than their own satisfaction. 13. I Need More Time

I am an individual who has not yet made up their minds on who they support but I must confess that all the anger I am seeing concerns me. I certainly hope I do not get 'flamed' for this but honestly, there are some great qualities I see in each candidate. Of course, there are some downsides as well, to each. Senator Obama swells me with a great sense of pride that I can finally vote for someone who has true integrity and a genuine desire to aid all mankind. Senator Clinton has a proven track record of helping the impoverished and the downtrodden.

I feel that all of this anger is going to tear us apart and make us weaker when this should be a period when we should all be rejoicing at the opportunity to put someone into office who really cares for us.

There are a lot of our members who have abandoned the General Discussion Primaries forum altogether because of the wild rancor on both sides. (Not all of the anger is genuine, there are plenty of "pot-stirrers" over there, whose JOB it is to inflame).

I hope the process doesn't drag on much longer, as it is not to our benefit.

I don't support her because she is DLC through and through. She voted for giving Bush the go ahead for war. She has spoken openly in favor of NAFTA up until recently. So where is it I am a bigot? Can you understand that is why the R's are cross-voting in droves because they know it will excite their base? It's happening in PA right now. Court Houses are inundated with party switchers so they can mess with our primary. They are depressing. I think both Democratic candidates would be fine presidents but it's human nature to want to see the best side of your favorite and the worst in the other. Life is better when I don't feed that inclination.

22. Like many here, I avoid GD:P,

but the problem is many of the more rabid proponents for the candidates track their vituperative rancor into the other rooms. It's as if they're unaware that they are turning people off of their candidates with their abysmal behavior. I like both candidates, I just don't care for the abuse some of their supporters spew onto each other.
