My guess is that the viewer pool for something titled "In The Money" is shrinking. Hence the name change.

The show has generated a couple of lengthy threads here at DU over the last few weeks.

They seem to be no longer drinking Bushco's economic Kool-Aid.

I no longer use the program as background noise. I actually watch it.

Heads up.

2. Their Bosses Just Got Their Latest Stock Portfolios
Last August, the market was at 14,500...now it's heading south of 12,000 and no end in sight...this is how the wealthy "feel" the economy. They don't worry about losing paychecks as much as net worth. When they're making money, they assume you are as well...if they're making money and you aren't...well, that's gotta be your problem...and when they're losing money, too...then it's an economic crisis.

Methinks CNN jumped the shark around the first of the year when Helicopter Ben couldn't rescue the real-estate market and its begun to affect their own bottom line. Revenues, especially for their financial news, has to be a disaster. You don't see many commercial for lenders like Countrywide or Ditech or the great performance of this fund or that one...that money has vanished. That's what they're feeling and now aren't gonna protect those who once fed their kitty.

5. But is buying company stock for your kids really a good idea now?
Their advice now:

'What Works'
Instead of toys, consider buying stock for the kids in your life. Company stock can be the gift that keeps on giving.

Your kids will hate you and your company will probably go belly up.
