From peddling stuffed animals on the boardwalk to hauling steamy, smelly garbage in the summer, foreign employees are finding a hard-earned dollar is not worth the effort.
As the American dollar's value has fallen, so has the incentive for some foreigners to work at the shore.

"We've seen numbers decrease pretty significantly. Obviously the weak dollar is driving a lot of it," Beckson said.
The euro, for example, reached its all-time high against the dollar last week. Currently, one euro is worth about $1.50.
