New York targeted by Iran?
March 5, 2007 Newsweek - Increasing tensions between Washington and Tehran have revived New York Police Department concerns that Iranian agents may already have targeted the city for terror attacks. Such attacks could be aimed at bridges and tunnels, Jewish organizations and Wall Street, NYPD briefers told security execs last fall, according to a person with access to the briefing materials who asked for anonymity because of the sensitive subject matter.

NYPD officials have worried about possible Iranian-sponsored attacks since a series of incidents involving officials of the Iranian Mission to the United Nations. In November 2003, Ahmad Safari and Alireaza Safi, described as Iranian Mission "security" personnel, were detained by transit cops when they were seen videotaping subway tracks from Queens to Manhattan at 1:10 in the morning.

3. Anedoctal evidence
From a visual standpoint they have been ramping up security lately, with large police presences in different areas. We were wondering what was going on. You just don't know if it's a drill or for real sometimes, but there definitely has been some sort of security escalation.

11. Is this the buildup to another 9/11 courtesy of "Iran", ahem
the U.S. Government, in order to justify another invasion?

I've noticed the beefed up security in the subways and it always freaks me out.

6. If Iran Wanted to Attack The U.S., All They'd Have To Do Is Cut Oil Production
Just by trimming oil production, they'd wreak more havoc than 1,000 bombs.

10. In 2002 Iraq could nuke London in "45 minutes"!
Can't these lame propagandists come up with something new in their attempts to frighten us?
The repetition is tiresome.
