Cindy Sheehan: Open Letter to the Wife of the "President" of the United States
Open Letter to the Wife of the "President" of the United States ...by Cindy Sheehan

Dear Laura,

It has been quite awhile since I have written to you "mother to mother." A lot of water has gone under that proverbial bridge, huh? Remember, I wrote to you in August of 2005, urging you then to assert any influence that you may have over your husband to help us bring America's sons and daughters home from Iraq. Many women at Camp Casey and around the world wrote to you also and those letters were delivered to your ranch on a very hot August day. You didn't answer me then, and judging by past unanswered letters to your husband and his mother, you probably won't answer me now. I have to try anyway.

Laura, I saw a clip of your interview with Wolf Blitzer, when you said that, "of course the war is wearing" on you. Laura, Laura. Laura, how do you think I and hundreds of thousands of women all around the world feel?

After spending most of my days working to end the war so no other mother around the world has to experience what I have had to, I lie awake most of the nights in physical and emotional pain, missing my son, Casey so desperately. While the war is "wearing" on you, at least you have both of your children still alive and you are able to hold them when they are home, or call them when they are away. I would gladly give everything I have owned or will ever own just to catch a glimpse of my son one more time to erase the memory of seeing him lying in his coffin that was provided to him criminally and unjustly by your husband.

Laura, I am writing this to you from Istanbul, Turkey. Since I first camped down the road from your ranch, I have traveled the world. Unlike your husband, and oftentimes yourself, I do not have to travel the streets of this world in armored vehicles with anti-aircraft guns on their roofs. I am welcomed and loved in these countries, but you know who isn't: your husband.

I resent the fact that your husband has made the USA a detested laughing stock all over the world. The rest of the entire world thinks that we Americans are simple and we approve of what your husband and the rest of his criminal regime is doing. The people I meet with tell me that my visits give them hope that a better America is possible.

Dear Laura, a better America and safer world is impossible while your husband and Doomsday "No option is off the table for Iran" Dick are leading our country and the world down a path of disaster.

Dear Laura, there are millions of mothers in Iraq and Afghanistan who feel the undeserved wrath of your husband everyday and there are millions more in Iran who are terrified for their children and communities because your husband and his pals seem to be deceiving our planet into another unnecessary invasion. There are thousands of mothers in America who, like me, are not sleeping well at night because their children are not partying in Argentina, but are being held hostage in Iraq by your husband's lies and he and his gang's incompetence, or have been killed by the same. There are thousands of mothers in America who are profoundly worried about their child because he/she can't get the help they need form a VA system that is falling apart and not funded fully by your husband. Can you feel the cries of the mothers around the world in your soul, Laura? Can you feel the cries of the mothers whose children are being illegally detained and tortured by your husband? I can, as my tears join the deep and wide river of misery that your husband has unleashed. This river will never dry up, but we can stem its flow by ending the carnage in the Middle East, and soon.

Laura, even though your unwavering public support of your husband appalls me, I am reaching out to you because you are the only one associated with your husband that has even a bare trace of humanity in her eyes. I suspect that you have been hurt by your husband along with millions of people worldwide. I suspect you know that for the healing and future health of the world that George needs to step down ... and quickly.

Laura, the ultimate insult and slam to our collective guts came when we found out recently that your husband's criminal regime is funding the very al-Qaeda groups that attacked us on 9-11 and are killing our children in Iraq. Your husband is directly responsible for these crimes but who can stop him?

Laura, I will be back in Crawford at Camp Casey at Easter with hundreds of other people who demand that your husband bring the troops home from Iraq immediately and, since Congress seem to be inhabiting the same deep and wide pockets that your husband does, will be calling for his resignation. Please, stop by, we are right down the road.

We mothers of sons and daughters ask you to look into your mother's heart and urge George to step down for peace and for the mothers of the world.

Sincerely
Cindy Sheehan

Mother of Spc Casey Sheehan, who wanted to get married, have children, be an elementary school teacher, and a permanent Deacon in the Catholic Church, but instead was killed in Iraq on 04/04/04 ... by his Commander in Chief who lied to him.

Writing from Istanbul, Turkey

24. The USA to Larua Bush if Iraq is so calm then why don't you and your daughters go shopping in
Baghdad next week and show us how great the Occupation is going!

What could you expect from a woman that killed her ex boyfriend, Michael Douglas a few days after getting dumped by him!

http://postmodern-research.blogspot.com/2006/08/laura-bush-in-high-school-killed-her-ex.html
Fatal car accident

On November 6, 1963, two days after she turned 17, Bush (then Laura Welch) was driving her Chevrolet sedan with her classmate Judy Dyke. It was shortly after 8 p.m. on a clear night when Welch entered the intersection of State Highway 349 and Texas Farm Road 868 (now a four lane highway). Welch drove through the intersection's stop sign and collided with a Chevrolet Corvair sedan killing classmate Michael Dutton Douglas, also 17. Welch and Dyke sustained minor injuries; Douglas was later pronounced dead on arrival at Midland Memorial Hospital. Welch was not criminally charged in connection with the collision. In May 2000, a two-page police report about the car crash was made public, following a Freedom of Information Act request by journalists, due to the refusal of Midland officials to release the information. To this day, she does not talk publicly about the accident.

Michael Dutton Douglas and Welch were students together at Robert E. Lee High School in Midland, Texas. According to the wikipedia article on Michael, Douglas was nominated as the school's most popular male student while a junior, an honor typically only awarded to graduating high school seniors. And notice even though it's not made clear here or in
Michael's wiki entry that they were ex-lovers, but make no mistake, it's made ABSOLUTELY clear in George and Laura's own BIOGRAPHY. Not only were they in the same circle, they were DEFINITELY a couple, and it was a big deal i'm sure, Laura used to date the most popular guy in school.

And when you get the real picture, you're going too see something very familiar, I see motive, I see yet another rocky high-school relationship revenge story, and what's even more disturbing, is the more I dug, the more evidence I piled against her.

According to the well-received book about the Bushes, "Laura Welch and Michael Douglas had dated throughout early and mid-1963, but by the fall of that year Michael was going out with Regan Gammon, one of Miss Welch's closest friends." That in itself is grounds for all kinds of revenge, think about it, you got Laura Bush, named Laura Welch, 17, that's hormonal SEVENTEEN, and dating the most popular guy in school, and after dating her for a while, he SUDDENLY drops Laura for ONE OF HER BEST FRIENDS!!! What is this, Melrose Place, 90210? Looks like it's Murder She Wrote.

Now you probably think that's all I got... no, it gets so much worse than a suspicious scenario, there's a ridiculous amount of information left. This whole situation clearly sets up a clear reason for Laura to at least harm this boy/car, etc, on purpose. Now I can't maintain that she wanted this boy DEAD, I doubt that highly, but I do think it's possible that she purposely ran that stop sign in anger and ignored his coming car (his lights worked fine, and she had a bigger, tougher car in comparison), accidentally killed him, and then she filed a false police report full of lies, that wasn't even followed up on, that was then covered up until 2000, when she also coincidentally decided it was time to come clean in a brief statement. (The future First Lady made a brief remark in March 2000 about the crash, "I know this as an adult, and even more as a parent, it was crushing ... for the family involved and for me as well.")

Let's look at the subtle differences between what Laura Bush was driving (60's era Chevy Impala), and what poor Michael Douglas was driving (Chevy Corvair) when little Laura perhaps decided it was time to smash his ride in a jealous rage. (Not the actor, but talk about a fatal attraction!)

Now look, can you see the obvious difference? Who would be in danger if these two crashed into eachother? I'm betting on the smooth little un-shielded car. And that car, that's Mike's ride, i'm giving dead Michael Douglas a car that was made 2 years after the accident, so it's actually a better car than he had (most likely anyway, email me if you got specifics).

By simply examining the supposedly accurate police report, it may be impossible to prove she intended to crash, and the suspicious scenario and car positioning may just be a meaningless coincidence, but regardless of whether it was truly on purpose or not, it's undeniable that she did it, she's killed somebody, and did a good job of covering it up (sounds like Bush and Margie Schroedinger all over again)

First of all, realize that Laura's parents were house builders, her father a businessman, no doubt this work put him in a seat of power and influence when in a small town like Midland, Texas. It's likely, in a small place like that, and a family with such a big business, police involved may have already known about her family and the fact she's an only-child, and helped her cover this up from the beginning.

Ok now look at this part of the report, it was dark out, the weather was clear, the roads were dry, the terrain was level. So it's not like she can say fog somehow blinded her, or it was wet outside, she should've seen that stop-sign, and if not that, she should've seen his headlights, in fact, I'll go as far as to say it's very likely that she really did see Michael Dutton Douglas' headlights, and if you look at this next picture from the police report, you can see that her car is positioned at a very clear angle, only temporary blindness could excuse not seeing this car already so far ahead, and we know she didn't have vision problems at 17!

Seriously, think about this in a 3D scenario, (if anybody could 3d-model it, i'll add it here), it doesn't seem very sensible to assume she didn't see the car coming like the police report claims, it doesn't seem very logical to think she didn't see the stop sign. It's not like they got a report from a witness, or the dead guy, the police just writes Laura/Judy's account of what happened, and doesn't really seem to question it as truth or not, not that it could possibly be verified (fishy). Although it's possible that account is accurate, BUT WHY GO AGAINST THE RULES, why not CHECK? Notice in the part below the cops EVEN ADMIT this investigation isn't done (and it still hasn't been finished).

Notice it clearly says that Laura Bush did the deed in the report below.
Where's the justice?! Was Laura Bush even grounded? Michael sure was.

Notice there's nothing that can be found about this Judy Dyke friend (please mail me if you find a lead), or from anybody in Michael's family, it's rumored they moved away. Either way, they would've filed suit if they saw the police report, wouldn't they have? Looks like the Midland police kept this under raps though, until around 2000. And quite frankly, I think they were basically paid off to be quiet, and to leave it alone, like Michael Jackson would do, and Laura had access to that kind of money and resources, house-building isn't a small business, her father was a wealthy businessman (she was driving a chevy impala in the 60's, think about it, also, the elite Bush's wouldn't marry poor).

(extra!!)

It also looks like Laura OBVIOUSLY spent alot of her time trying to 'pay back' Regan Gammon for killing her super-star boyfriend, even though most of the world didn't know till 2000, Regan Gammon has been a definite huge part of the Bush Empire, look into it, she's even Jenna's GODMOTHER. Laura describes her as her BEST FRIEND now, that's such an interesting thing, don't you think? Laura killed her best-friend's boyfriend. But they were always friends, and it's not like Regan knew what REALLY happened, she probably just thinks it was an accidental death that Laura feels guilty about.

"there are millions of mothers in Iraq and Afghanistan who feel the undeserved wrath of your husband everyday and there are millions more in Iran who are terrified for their children and communities because your husband and his pals seem to be deceiving our planet into another unnecessary invasion...Can you feel the cries of the mothers around the world in your soul, Laura? Can you feel the cries of the mothers whose children are being illegally detained and tortured by your husband? I can, as my tears join the deep and wide river of misery that your husband has unleashed. This river will never dry up, but we can stem its flow by ending the carnage in the Middle East, and soon.
