I was choking on a sandwich while we bombed Iraq
Okay embarrassing admission time.

Remember the day we bombed Iraq and they were showing it on all the networks?

I'd been out that morning and came home. Turned on the TV to see the news while making a sandwich. My attention got diverted as they were showing the bombing.

I forgot to take the wax paper off the cheese slice.

So while the bombs were dropping on Baghdad, I was taking big bites out of my sandwich...."Hmmm, this is kinda tough......Oh shit, this is wax paper I'm chewing. Pffffftttttttt...."

Just thought I'd share.

1. Sure beats a cluster bomb or a daisy cutter over one's kitchen.
Glad you survived the plastic attack.

7. My daughter was sitting at my knee.

She was 12. We were both crying. The next day, she armed with a copy of her birth certificate and passport, me with my driver's license, we set out with thousands of other folks from San Francisco and, for the next few days, we shut the city down.
