Politicians are great at one thing . |
|
They really do know how to tell the people exactly what they know people want to hear . However when it comes to listening to the people they appear blind as they did during the protests and the calls and letters .
What they do is pick the peoples talking points and use these in their speeches and campaigns , none appear to be their own original ideas .
This is the definition of a politician .

And the Reverend Wright "contraversy" illustrates pretty clearly that people don't want to hear truths they aren't comfortable with.
So the politicians have it right. Honesty ain't the best policy if you want to be elected.

it was so obvious that they changed their approaches almost DAILY in response to polls and feedback. It was astounding to witness.

Before the election, the politicians kiss your ass. After the election, you kiss their ass.
He was a tough old character from Pittsburgh.
