Bank customers queue round the block as cash machine pays out DOUBLE their money
By NICK McDERMOTT

Once the word was out, there was no stopping them. Within minutes of one lucky customer finding out that the cash machine at his local supermarket was giving out double the requested withdrawal, the news spread like wildfire.

Customers popping down to their Sainsbury's Local store for a few basics got in on the act - and they were soon joined by hundreds of others as they alerted family and friends to the ultimate supermarket bargain.

"They were ringing their mates and telling them to get down quickly. It makes up for all the bank charges, I guess. I hope they don't have to pay it back."

The Sainsbury's spokesman said: "We think a number of cash machines outside supermarkets in Hull experienced similar problems."

1. Makes up for Citibank screwing its customers the other way
There was an ATM machine here in Southern California that was charging customers DOUBLE
their withdrawals ... One of my friends noticed this was happening with his account and
when he said something under his breath while in line, another customer agreed. They
were going to try and file a class action suit but nothing ever came of it ... and they
never got their money back, either.

Go for it, blokes!!!

3. The machine keeps a record of all transactions
These people will be contacted and told they will be liable and their account will reflect the "double dipping". This isn't Monopoly, the "bank error in your favor" is not played in the real world.

4. Integrity
Why compromise by stooping to the level of corporate. Then you are no better than what you despise. You have become one of them.

9. There is no such thing as free money
They will be charged for every extra Euro they received. ATM's are not slot machines.
