Fililng for the stimulus package
As I live on disability, I didn't think that I could get the stimulus rebate, but lo and behold, I could file for it. So I did, painlessly prepare the form and efile it.

But I think that a very large portion of the lower class that might be eligible might not have the ability to file for it or even get the news to do so.

I'm lucky that I've got a computer and therefore the resources to file.

I do, however, have this eensy-teensy little part of my brain that insists I'm being set up, that filing for the rebate puts me back on the radar and therefore subject to the usual possibilities of being spied upon.

Boy, am I gonna be glad to get rid of this presidency so perhaps a very tiny part of me can believe--or pretend to believe--that we're no longer being persecuted.

1. I've heard that you have to file an income tax return, even if you don't owe
any money or deserve a refund, just to get your name in the system. That's been on the various news programs quite often. They did mention specifically that retirees and disabled persons will have to file because that's the only way to get your info in their database.

3. People on SSI get NOTHING.
So, you are lucky to be able to get something.

The poorest of the poor, once again, are shut out.
