Bush declares himslef Emperor, abolishes elections

George W. Bush declared himself Emperor of North America today, abolishing the offices of the President of the United States, Prime Minister of Canada and President of Mexico.

He also abolished all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 100 seats in the Senate. He ordered all former congressmen jailed.

Emperor Bush, as the decree declared he is to be known, said that he will immediately place the Fortune 500 on the federal payroll. All taxes will henceforth be paid directly to a federal fund to be divided by America's 500 largest corporations.

The Emperor also abolished global warming and said he doesn't want to "hear any more nonsense about it." Afterward, he declared war on Cuba.

Then he broke for lunch and called it a day.
