Dan Abrams show THE VERDICT. He's supposed to be an attorney and yet, not one word |
|
from him regarding the series of "torture" memo's etc., in the last few days. Never even mentions that top White House and DOJ attorney's actually went to Guantanamo, observed the torture and made recommendations for additional "techniques". Instead he chooses to rate candidates gaffs and prattle on and on about the same old campaign crap. I find this new format insipid and boring. Can't believe he is Elliot Abrams' son. Obviously not a very astute attorney. What a waste of air time.

Correspondent for MSNBC but he has yet to cover anything "legal" that I have heard.
Just looked it up, he's Elliot Abrams cousin. I stand corrected.

6. In all fairness...the show is called "Verdict," not THE Verdict. |
|
Dan explained why before the first show aired. "The Verdict" sounded as if it would be just a courtroom or legal show. It isn't. He wanted the freedom to discuss anything and everything without being tied to talking about "the verdict" of specific cases.
Maybe lame, and maybe (probably) you're right that he should be talking about bigger, more important issues. But he did qualify the name precisely because he thought the THE made it sound too much like a court/legal show.

Pitiful for a "news" organization.

10. Exactly. It is a game show and not worthy of a "news" organization. It's an insult to our |
|
intelligence. I turn it off. Hope everyone else it to so that MSNBC will get the message really quickly. Total waste of time.
