Hillary Clinton being used by the Right Wing nuts |
|
If anyone has noticed how they are "hyping" Mrs Clinton, it is for a good reason. If we are bamboozled into voting her in as the front-runner in 2008 and be nominated as our Presidential candidate, we lose. This is what Rove is working on now. Remember him. He still pulling strings while other things are going on. To put it bluntly and not to sound sexist, this country will NOT elect a woman for President. I, being a liberal would not hesitate to vanquish the idea of a woman president, heck women in general have more compassion for all of humanity. BUT, as the right wing knows, this country is NOT ready for a woman as president. Just think in reality, a moderate-liberal northeastern blue state woman winning the election??????? Let's be real.

8. The RW and this White House is a lot smarter then we give them credit for |
|
...Look what happened, Bush lied to get us into Iraq, now he's holding our troops hostage; and for political reasons we'll pay the ransom.
The RW has been manipulating America for years.
PS. The media hyped Obama...do think a black man could win over red states? It's sad to say, but I don't think so.
We can't let the media choose for us. They tore down Dean then Kerry was pushed to the head of the pack.
Grass roots is the only answer.

13. You're kidding right?..one has to smart to be so devious. |
|
We always think of Bush as the “village idiot”...with Cheney and Rove’s help, these criminals are pulling off the biggest scam/heist in history. ...They're a group of thugs who ignored the warnings of 9-11--allowing thousands of people to die.
They used our fear -and went around the world spreading fear --not caring how many people died just as long as they're able to sell defense merchandise on the side. Talk about insider trading...they’re creating the demand for the products they’re selling.
Their most devious move of all is sending the troops for the surge before Congress votes on the funding for it. They know democrats will be forced to fund the esculation.
I'm just hoping democrats stand up to Bush by saying...We will ONLY fund the safe return of our troops!!

3. Welcome to DU. I could not agree with you more- A Clinton run guarantees a corporate dynasty win. |
|
The country will not elect her and in the end, she will split the vote among the democrats which will assure more corporate puppets occupying the White House. Amen djohnsper- you are preaching to the choir when you preach to me. Again, welcome to DU; it is always good to meet a thinking person here.

19. Are you accusing the poster I welcomed to DU of being a "winger?" As in a troll? |
|
If so, I do believe you have broken DU posting rules...no? You might want to edit that comment.

7. The right woman could but, it's not because of HRC's gender but, |
|
her personally. Many just plain do not like her. period. has nothing to do with gender. She is unlikable. You have a woman other than Hillary that people like I think they would elect her. It's like, I wouldn't vote for Hillary for anything. But, you give me Nancy Pelosi... It's about likability as much as ability. Let's pretend Bush is competent. You'd still hate him because he is so irritating.

9. Guess what? I LIKE Hillary. I like her. Yes she is likable |
|
You and others are foolishly swallowing the media BS that she is not "Likable"
There is nothing wrong with her personality. Total media BS
They are brainwashing you and it is working
Stop swallowing all the media jism.

11. "I, being a liberal, would not hesitate to vanquish the idea...." |
|
Word choice aside, what does being a liberal have to do with it? For God's sake, it's the 21st century. If the Tories in the UK can have a female PM twenty five years ago, I'd like to think that gender isn't even an issue here in the USA in 2007.
Anyway, the real reason not to vote for Hillary is that she carries all the baggage of being a liberal, without actually fighting for liberal policies. Plus, it would be the return of the Clenis.

The RW'ers definitely want Hillary to get the nomination. Nothing will motivate Republicans -- moderate ones as well as neo-cons -- as much as the possiblity of Hillary as President.

Or why the Washington Times is running hit pieces on her...
This particular piece of CW is just wrong!

18. This is what Rove's working on now? |
|
Source? Link? Evidence? Something? Anything?
I welcome you as a new DUer, but if you'll pardon me saying so, you're blowin' some serious smoke here. And FWIW, I believe a Clinton nomination would be a very bad idea. But apparently not for the reasons you think so.
