I can't seem to find one. CNN is running a Soledad O'Brien show called "Black America".

CNN HEadline News has The Cheezus Story going.

MSNBC is running Lockup.

FOX (last resort, obviously) has Geraldo on, but I don't think it is live.

I guess they leave some videotape with whatever intern has to work the weekend night shift.

1. Tampa area has a great one on cable.
www.baynews9.com

24 hours a day. Pretty balanced. I think it is a BrightHouse channel.

2. Well it is hard to even call them news channels.
CNN started out that way and added sponsors so they could make money. I guess that is news.

3. Not live, no.
Unless something important breaks, like Britney throwing another wobbly and being arrested...or severe weather.

6. Only for the East Coast, until the evening.
Two years ago we traveled to Alaska which is four hours behind Eastern time. So even when we checked into a hotel at, say, 5:00 PM, all of them that you listed were showing Larry King or some other special programs. At that time, it was about the alleged confession by the one claiming to have killed JonBennet..

At least, local stations do carry their news at local time and sometimes will cover national news, mostly, however, it is high school sport.

7. I absolutely hate MSNBC for the 24/7 Lock Up

They must be getting big money fromthe Blackwater Prision Companies to show us day in and day out the Prision system.

Why, please tell me why~ :puke:

8. New England Cable News is almost 24-hour news.
They have some sports, plus Phantom Gourmet, but it seems to be 90% news.

9. No
and it's my pet peeve. Even when something big happens in the world, it takes them an hour or two to drag some news-reader in front of a camera.

CNN used to actually cover events. Now none of them do.
