House Republicans are poised to shift their focus from national security to the economy, hoping to rally opposition to what they claim are Democratic plans to raise taxes amid the economic downturn.

Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) is expected to announce Thursday that the House GOP floor emphasis will transition away from passing the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) and earmark reform to "stop the tax hike."

I was listening to a rightwing wacko on the radio and he said that People who are informed vote republicon and that they need to get the message out that republicons are for the people.

I would like to know how they expect us to believe that everything is messed up because of the Dems when they have been in power for all of these years in the house,senate and presidency even when Clinton was the president they were really the ones in power..
