oh gaud, I just found out my sister is one of ........THEM |
|
she's gonna vote for mcnutzo and supports the current fukking administration..... I am at a loss for rational thought. She lives with my parents, and hers, at 54 years of age. She's been divorced, had a son commit suicide, and holds a small job at one of the box stores, her current beau, if I could call him that, sounds more like a married guy trying to get some outside strange than what he tells us (internet builder in Bosnia, Croatia and bullshittia). so no one can know his last name or where he is at any given moment. I almost lost it today when I called to find out if my mom is voting on Tuesday and she hit me with this.
P.S. my mom is voting, Dem, that's all I can say.

My family had several, but all but three died off with the old guard.

Umm.. does she by any chance live in the basement? ;)
My son in law talked politics with me for the first time in years a few days ago.. Told me he thought McThuselah would make a good president. He was an aircraft mechanic in the Marines for five years so the first thing I laid on him was McThuselah's rep as a "wet start" jockey.. Asked him how he would like to be on the flight deck of a carrier when some jerk of a pilot caused a deliberate explosion.. He didn't like that much..
Then I laid McThuselah's divorce from the wife who waited for him while he was a POW on son in law.. He didn't like that much either.
He hadn't heard either story, I can't imagine why. :sarcasm:
On edit: "Those people" can be very greedy and self centered, if you are at all concerned about anything like an inheritance I would talk to your parents about just what their will includes and who the executor might be...
I speak from bitter experience on this, not my own, but my wife's mother's.. She got royally screwed over by some of his relatives after her husband passed away.

10. I am SOOOO thankful that my family is all very committed Dems. |

My BILs dad is old-line fiscal and cultural conservative but he hates Bush.
Sadly, BILs mom is a borderline fundie whacko who worships the ground Bush walks on and will certainly go for McCain. Fortunately I only have to see her every other year at Christmas, and we all know better than to start talking politics with her. SHE, OTOH, likes to start up political conversations - I think she has no clue how very much we disagree because we all try to be polite and not start screaming, lol.

my mother was One of Them during the past two elections. She didn't pay attention to current events and just voted the way her pastor instructed her to. I started emailing her news articles on a regular basis. No commentary-just the articles. The kinds of things that caused outrage and disgust here. This year she emailed me to say that she had voted for Kucinich in the primary!
