Has Everyone Noticed That Randi is Less Rude to Callers and Really Happy to Be Home In Fl |
|
Edited on Tue Apr-22-08 04:37 PM by Wiley50
She's back in her element with her real crew and friends. She's free-er and having fun.
There were so many here that stopped listening to her during her last weeks in NY.
Now, even when she's done with a caller, she's nicer and laughing about it.
Can't wait until we get Thom, Sam and Rachel to come over to Nova M

2. AAR lost the station in NYC, awhile ago, didn't they? |
|
But she keeps saying she's happy to be home. I've been confused about where she is... I heard her mention something today about a moving van. Did she give up her NYC apt.? And yes, she does seem calmer and less tense, seems to have more patience with the callers.

5. She's back down in West Palm broadcasting from WJNO studios |
|
where she was for 9 years before she moved to NYC in 04 to do AAR. She's not broadcasting from her house as reply #1 said. Malloy has his studio is his house though. It was part of his package when he joined Nova M
The AAR studios in NYC are where they always have been on 5th Ave.
It doesn't matter about whichever NYC local station carries the AAR programing. They don't physically broadcast from tthe station's studio, the just route the signal.

8. But I thought AAR got dropped in NYC.? |
|
I'm aware their offices are there but I thought I read they lost the NYC affiliate.
I was aware she used to broadcast and is from Florida but I didn't realize she'd moved back there already.
I like it that she has people in the studio with her too now.
It makes for some pretty funny conversations they have at times! :P

7. I had given up on listening to her |
|
several weeks before the blow-up at AirAmerica, too. She had become absolutely toxic to listen to. I'm glad she's happier now but I'm done with Randi.

15. I really enjoyed her show today. |
|
She was informative (as always) plus she was almost giddy. I love the banter between her and the guys. I am not sure who they are. But I think at least one of them is the one who does the bits at the breaks and they have ALWAYS been brilliant.
Randi definitely seems happier.

16. She's a bit bipolar. She's up at the moment. She will be down later. |
|
So the change is momentary. It won't last. I like Randi, but I can't listen to her at the moment because she is so Obama crazy. Nothing against Obama. I'll vote for him or Hillary, whoever is the candidate. I just don't want to listen to such one-sided fanatical talk. It's tiring.
