What a dirty shame Rudy Giuliani is no longer in the race for the White House. |

3. One thing that made it easier as each one of them dropped out |
|
was that each of them running had such huge flaws that the actual campaign was going to be a slam dunk and fun to boot. People are getting nervous now that our primary is being such a long drawn out shit kicker of a primary but honestly, I'm just itching to get to the real fun. It's gonna be a hoot. I can't wait to see how Chimpy McSame picks for his running mate.

11. Probably McCain will have plenty of crafty GOP insiders and strategists to |
|
try and compete, but I think he's in for a rough several months between now and November.
When we choose our nominee, I think McCain's life gets rougher still. As you put it, the real fun begins then. McCain honestly looks and sounds terrible, as if he can barely get through the day.

13. He'd do us a favor if he chose someone as horrifying as Romney or |
|
Huckabee. I think he'll go with Tim Pawlenty, Rob Portman, or Jim Talent.
I think if we put up our best game we beat his best by a wide margin.

14. Well, I'm still of the opinion that, |
|
barring electronic voting fraud on a huge scale, we could run a turnip and by next January we would be calling that turnip, Mr. (or Ms.) President. I know that people are talking about how this long protracted primary fight is hurting us, but I just don't see it.

15. Agree -- it wil be resolved and we will go on to mow down McCain. |
|
Also we need to press for significant increases in our majorities in both chambers of the Congress to give a little lift to much-needed legislation.

5. Laugh away. Just wait. Another "terrorist" attack & Americans will look for Daddy. |
|
Giuliani is a dangerous tumor. He'll be back.
And Hillary's not gone yet either, for those writing the obituary. She's the Undead, just like Giuliani.

6. Thanks for screwing up the thread with some Hillary-bashing. Is this a compulsion with you people? |

Visualize that for a moment.

10. My thought was selfish Democratic voter relief, as my opinion of Rudy |
|
Giuliani, which was extremely low to begin with, became even lower once he decided to skip the early primary states and hunker down in Florida.
All the tough talk about terrorists may have resonated with a few people, but a lot of us at DU weren't among that demographic.

I miss that manipulative neofascist and the way he tried to kindle and encourage fear and vulnerability among the american people so he could manipulate them into voting for him. What a guy, and easily the best candidate of the 200 million or so people who are eligibile to become president. A sociopathic moral dwarf.
