The amazing thing about the hand-outs to the mortgage companies. |
|
They gave millions to the poorly managed mortgage companies, and they are still allowing the mortgage companies to place people in default. Do you realize that the mortgage companies will end up holding the cash AND OWNING THE HOUSES which they can resell. All we get is a few hundred dollars back provided that we owed them in taxes this year. This is yet another Republican robbery -- and the Democratic Congress is the accomplice.
As long as they are raking in the money, the Republicans are for the free market. The minute they start losing, they want a government hand-out.
As long as they are in power, they believe in the imperial presidency. Wait until a Democrat is in the White House, suddenly they will rediscover the importance of maintaining a balance of power.
What pea-brains. WHAT JERKS!!!

Remember before 9-11? The airlines wanted deregulation. Just let us fly our planes, run our business our way and everything will be fine. Government just needs to get off our backs. So what happens? They run a passenger friendly airline, fast security lines, as few hassles for their paying customers as possible. They were the first ones with their hands held out for billions after 9-11. Remember the last two term Republican president? The deregulation of the banking industry during that administration led to the Savings and Loan scandal with similar government infusion of cash and the dirty evildoers (scamming capitalists) were never confronted.
