Southland Tales
Anybody here seen Southland Tales? www.imdb.com/title/tt0405336/
Its a futuristic, july 2008, look at religion/politics/oil/celebrity.
It's by the same guy who directed Donnie Darko. This movie sucks, but I really like it. You will not understand a lot of the movie the first time. Also the first half of the movie is in graphic novel form, so you are left out in the dark with a lot of the movie. It so sad how out there this movie is, but how eerily similar to the present time it is.
If you have 2 1/2 hours to spare, check out this great mess of a movie; its very political, and they even come up with a cure for our oil adiction. Ohh ya the case is wild; The Rock, Sean william scott, mandy moore, jon lovitz, cherri oterri, etc....
