Called local TV station about lack of coverage of Myanmar

Pretty simple answer from them ---- "Sir, those are not caucasians."

1. I thought their simple answer would have been
they're a local TV station covering local events.

Why not call a major network station?

4. I just checked a couple sites out:
cnn.com and msnbc.com both have either breaking news banners or large graphics covering the cyclone. Also the local DC station has prominent coverage.

www.msnbc.com

Sorry you can only get the local farming report where you live.

5. Wow, farming report, I now feel so degraded, good for you, putting me in my place.

Like I would actually waste the time to call a television station.

6. Then I don't understand the point of your post
You say you called a local TV station about the lack of Myanmar coverage when you really didn't

I look around and find plenty of coverage that you seem to ignore

I guess you just have too much time on your hands this morning.

Ciao

9. RGBolen, along with Robcon is a big business/cheap labor "Democrat"
His schtick is to manipulate racial politics in support of globalism. This is his only move, so the OP is likely (in his mind, at least,) related to this goal.

3. Boy, that goes to show how low..
.. our country has sunk.

People don't even try to appear non-racist.

8. Umm, it's a complete fabrication. What is described in the OP never happened.
Moreover, as someone pointed out--this is international news, which has been covered extensively on the cable and nightly news.

The OP is manipulative, made up crap. So ask yourself, "What is RGBolen's agenda?"

7. I've actually seen a lot of coverage on the national news networks.
Though given the tenuous relationship between our governments, it has probably been difficult getting any accurate news out of Myanmar.

If they made that comment to you, maybe you should take it up the ladder with their management.

11. Local "news" is basically the police blotter, weather, sports and a fluff piece.
Maybe a bite or two from the national corporate "news."

Forget Myanmar- they won't even inform us about what's important in our local communities and states.
