Poll question: Are you tired?
I don't mean from lack of a cat nap or because you didn't get your second cuppa today .....

I mean seriously tired of it all.

The eight years of rape, pillage, and plunder.

The eight years of bending over for the rich and taking it in the ass?

The eight years of waiting for the Democrats to grow a spine.

The eight years of feeling robbed by vote system cheaters.

The eight years of fear mongering.

The ineffectualness of the Democrats.

The promises held out and then dashed.

The gamed electoral system whereby we get media approved candidates we really don't like all that much.

I'm feeling really, really tired. Weary. Achingly morose. Pretty much uncaring. I try to whip myself back into passionate, caring mode, but I can't.

I'm just fucking tired

How about you?

What about 'exhausted' , its not in the poll...
Because I am...

totally wrung out. I say to myself: stay off the internets,

But I'm like an addict... can't tear myself away.

Although I don't post constantly like others,

when I can, I'm always looking for the next news...

I am disgusting, absolutly pathetic.

Exhausted, and pathetic.

wish this was settled for good.

7. I have not yet begun to fight!
Jones struggled with the 44-gun Royal Navy frigate Serapis, and although his own vessel was burning and sinking, Jones would not accept the british demand for surrender, replying, "I have not yet begun to fight!" More than three hours later Serapis surrendered and Jones took command.

9. Tired..
Tired of being run over by pirate's and then told that it's a "good" "capitalist" thing and that anything less is evil, and comes from the devil.

Tired of seeing politicians wring their hands over everyone on the planet, except the group who elected them.

Tired of being told that shipping our economy off a piece at a time somehow equates to a "rising tide" which lifts all yachts, er.. "ships" I mean.

Tired of the biggest criminals getting off scot free, while the poor and less connected are punished without mercy.

Tired of Britney & Madonna squelching whats important.

Tired of the markets being fawned over, like a sick spouse.. While actual human suffering is ignored.

Tired of all the influence peddling, and electing people just so they can work against you.

11. I'm
forty something and very very very tired. I feel like I've been putting up with that crap for most of my adult life. It is not a phenomena limited to just the last 8 years - though they have been among the worst.

Because I fear for my own welfare and my future I do care - but I am in survival mode. Single, well educated, long term unemployed and constantly reinventing myself in an effort just to survive. Although I am occasionally pleasantly surprised, I don't ask or expect much of anything from my community, my church, my government, corporate Amerika, or mainstream Amerikan society. All our social institutions are failures IMHO. Frankly, I no longer have the emotional or financial resources to invest much in caring about more than my own survival. That bothers me. But I simply cannot go out and fight somebody else's battles when there is no one to help me fight my own.

12. 8 years of life under the jackass in chief hasn't exactly given me a positive outlook.
I'm still hopeful that the next president will be way better than the shitbag we have now unless its McCain.

13. I've had that sort of hope before .......
It got yanked out from me with Oswald's 'lone gun'.

I had it again when Jimmy ran. That turned out crappy.

Clinton was 'my guy' in 92. Look where we are now.

Yeah ..... hope ...... its over rated.
