"The term 'hero' irritates me greatly. The opposite is true. I continue to have pangs of conscience that I did so little," Sendler said in one of her last interviews.

My God, when the woman was caught she was tortured and left in the woods with all her limbs broken and she thinks she did too little.

A saint no matter how you define the word.

names of the children she rescued.

People like her and the fact that many nazis lived their lives afterwards in places somewhere in South America make me wish there is a heaven and a hell for justice in the afterlife.
