SIP IT: FREE ICED COFFEE

It's Free Iced Coffee Day, 10 a.m.-10 p.m., at Dunkin' Donuts. That means today the chain will
use more than 88 million ice cubes in enough coffee to fill seven Olympic-size swimming pools.

FREE Iced Coffee Day at Dunkin Donuts

http://www.examiner.com/x-281-Energy-Examiner~y2008m5d14-FREE-Iced-Coffee-Day-at-Dunkin-Donuts

POSTED May 14, 3:22 PM

In case you have not heard the news, Dunkin' Donuts said it will celebrate its second annual free iced coffee day Thursday, and the likely result is that the chain will serve nearly 4 million cups of iced coffee to customers nationwide. There is no rush - unlike the free Starbucks or McDonalds tastings that are puny and only run for a couple hours in the morning, Dunkin Donuts is giving out Full Size 16oz drinks from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Customers can walk into any participating Dunkin' Donuts restaurant (or can hit any number of stores throughout the day...) throughout the country.

Customers will be encouraged to try try their new iced coffee drinks; Berry Berry Iced Coffee, which combines the seasonal tastes of blueberry and raspberry with Dunkin' Donuts' award-winning coffee, the chain said.

And because I thought it was fitting, the new Dunkin commercial by They might be giants! I love the small limping animal crawling away on the floor

try one of these later on today, after the morning rush too.

I guess they have different flavors too, I hope they have Hazelnut!

Enjoy!

8. Enjoy it!
DD coffee is my vice. My coffee addiction draws me to DD at least three times a day. When I was offered my current job, I scouted out the closest DD before even considering taking the position.

I need help.

Edited on Thu May-15-08 07:05 AM by Breeze54
Do you complain about 'certain' companies, like Exxon or Wally Mart?

What's the difference? I didn't post any link to DD, I posted an article.

19. I don't care about the price of gas
Thanks to my fabulous Gary Fisher Wahoo mountain bike I can get around without buying gas.

And no, I don't complain about Exxon. They're no more or less evil than any other oil company.

Your riding a MTN bike isn't the issue and not everyone can utilize a bike to get around.

You don't care about your fellow DUers?

Your post kinda pissed me off, too. But that's because we don't have a Dunkin' here. So I'll be missing out.

No one's BUYING the freebie, so they're losing $$, right? ;)

So? Go get as many freebie's as you can today!

56. How to NOT Steal Bandwidth posting pics
This works for most pictures.

Say you have a picture you want to use in a posting;

http: //foobar.com/ JulieNewmar. jpg

Now, if you just link it to your posting, you immediately
start stealing bandwidth from foobar.com.

This is simply not a nice thing to do as some websites pay
for every byte they transfer.

If you change that URL a little;

http ://foobar.com .nyud.net:8090 /Julie Newmar.jpg
---------------.......^^^^^^^^^^

ADD this after the " .com " >>>>>> .nyud.net:8090

Hence, the REASON I used --> .nyud.net:8090

:silly:

14. I don't know if you've experienced this but all the DD's in CC
that I've been to kinda suck.. slow service, orders wrong, laziness (make you spread your own cream cheese... I'm basing this on two locations... juniper/walnut and 11/chestnut) I thought they were ALL like this until I went to the 17/washington one and the N Broad/Parrish one and received super-fast and great service.

I mean, with these high gas prices, I hope more people post about freebies!
We've had knock down drag out fights on DU in GD about Starbucks and other
things like that before, so I see no issue with posting about a freebie.

18. Dunkin' Donuts is owned by the Carlyle Group...
...the company that brought you George W Bush, 9/11 and the Iraq war.
Anybody who patronizes Dunkin' Donuts, and it's sister company Baskin Robbins, is part of the problem and is contributing to the complete degradation of this planet by giving profits to war-mongers so that they can use those profits to continue their project to kill off as many people on the planet as possible, destroy the functions of government and privatize everything.

Enjoy your coffee!

...to go with that free coffee.

Besides, the whole point is to make new customers.

Dunkin' Donuts is evil!
Another large corporate entity dedicated to giving a whole new generation of Americans diabetes!
Everything at DD and Baskin Robbins is pure, subsidized sugar, and cheap, unhealthy ingredients.
I'm going to do a little research now, and I would be shocked! if Carlyle doesn't also have stock in or own companies that make diabetes medications...
