1. I don't. They're going to have enough problems defending themselves |
|
on the illegal occupation, economy, and their total failure as a party to let this happen, unless we allow them to.

The Illegal Immigration Card... The Scary Black Man Card... The Dirty Fuckin' Hippie Liberal Card... The uppity female card... The fear card...
There's more wedges out there than a 16-inch Chicago Style Pizza...the problem is none really have much traction. Gay Marriage would be a big issue if the fundies really cared for Gramps...they don't. And the other bigots and homophobes have bigger fish to hate...

I was not attempting to itemize all the variations on how this is played. I just keep hoping that in my lifetime a large enough majority of us will wise up and toss the bums out.

but they will be out in force with Obama as our candidate. Ignorance and hatred are still very much alive.

so people can see how stupid and out of touch they REALLY are while the economy is in meltdown and the possibility of new wars are on the horizon, all they can worry about is defending their "manhood." If I were a Republican, I'd be changing my party identity to Independent fast.

.... A collapsing economy, job insecurity, $5 gas, skyrocketing food costs, a war with no end and a potential attack on Iran will have voters, even those opposed to equal marriage, way too distracted to focus on wedge issues. The Repugs have gone to the well once too often with this one, methinks.
