How easily would Gore have won in 2000 without Rubber Face?
Since learning of Lieberman's comments today, I've been wondering....Had Al Gore chose a noble, dignified man to stand alongside him as Vice Presidential candidate (John Kerry was rumoured to be in the running at one point, you may recall) how much bigger would his winning margin have been?

Let's face it, Rubber Face has no charisma, is a right-wing shrill and lacks any sort tact. He was an awful choice by any stretch of the imagination, and I fail to believe that he energised the Jewish population to vote for Gore in significantly greater numbers than they otherwise would have done.

Had Al Gore a photogenic, virtuous individual standing by his side in 2000 wouldn't Bush and Cheney have been hit much harder in terms of image perception?
