Remember all that flak over the Dixie Chicks and their critique of resident bush ? The resounding rebuke was over the fact that they had launched their criticisms on foreign soil, telling a London audience that they were ashamed that bush was from Texas. Today that same George Bush used an address before the Knesset celebrating Israel's 60th anniversary to launch a political attack and equate Sen. Obama with Nazi appeasers.

The irony is it was Bush's grandfather Prescott Bush who was the Nazi appeaser and financier as was exposed by Marine Gen. Smedley Butler. Further irony is that members of bush's own cabinet, namely Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Secretary of State Condi Rice, have echoed Obama's ideas on engaging the Iranian government for negotiations.
January 20, 2009 can not come soon enough.
