Straight people - who else here just turned gay because of what happened in California? |
|
I mean, I've been straight all my life but geez, this California thingie with the Gay Marriage just ***poof*** and I want to marry a woman. I thought those fundies were crazy about gay being contagious and htat if we pass these laws that give gays equal rights then everyone will want to marry someone of the same sex, which oddly enough for me is my female cat evita, oh my I'm now going to marry a cat. Wow, until today I never thought of marry someone of the same sex let alone my cat! But that's what happened today - a court said that gays could marry and now I just want to marry female cats because something just triggered in me that this was ok to do!
:sarcasm:
When will these idiots realize that what happened in California will not change anything about who you are or what you want out of life. If you're straight you'll probably keep on being straight even if we provide equal rights to those who prefer partners of the same sex.
If 2 people love each other and are CONSENTING adults then these religious nut jobs need to MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS!!!

12. I plan to find rapture in my gay marriage, |
|
but, if Phelps objects, at least I'll have him at my funeral. Otherwise, I'm not sure I'll get a good turnout.

2. I felt the sanctity of my hetero marriage threatened for a bit, but I'm OK now |
|
It was close... I felt myself falling out of love, some strange foreign force pulling me slowly away from my lovely wife. Fortunately my wife showed me her boobs and suddenly everything snapped back to loving hetero. It was a close call.

7. That's it! I'm going straight down to the Humane Society |

and adopt a male cat. Possibly an orange tabby.
Then after we break down the marriage barrier out here, we can go to work on my building's no-pets rule (since he'll be my spouse, not my pet, you see). :eyes:

|
Perhaps I will watch Bringing Up Baby and see what Mr. Grant has to say.
Seriously, I am thrilled that loving couples will be able to make public, state acknowledged and sanctioned commitments. We are all richer for this.

Strangely, we still have less crime, a higher standard of living, and lower taxes (yes, it's true!) than most of the country. And the best public education system in the country.
Go figger.

Her mom's rabbit had babies. They're out of the nest now (the size of hamsters) and she went over to play/take pictures with them.

32. It was only the liberal ducks. |
|
The republican ducks moved to the north side of the pond , had a prayer vigil, listened to reruns of Rush Limbaugh, counted their duck money, and then hired a giant goose to go beat up the liberal ducks.
